What are the Best Testosterone Boosters 2018? – Here Are My best 2

As I have said in my other posts, I will only recommend low T boosters that contain the best quality ingredients. In this post I will cover the best testosterone boosting ingredients and what are the best testosterone boosters 2018, as of the writing of this article.

I will provide a full review of both of these Testosterone Boosters in the following paragraphs. At the bottom of this post, if you click on the pictures of the supplements I recommend, based on your age level, it will take you to the product website. But first, lets talk about the best ingredients. Enjoy and let’s get your low T levels up!

The BEST Ingredients In Testosterone Boosters – What are they?

A quick review for why we are here to review these products:

As men age, their natural testosterone level decreases. This causes things like a loss in sex drive, less muscle mass and vitality. There are a lot of products that claim to boost testosterone, but contain “proprietary formulas” that keep consumers guessing on the ingredients. I don’t know about you, but I want to see exactly what the ingredients are, in anything I plan on putting in my body. The following list and descriptions of the most common testosterone booster ingredients will hopefully make it more clear while reading the ingredients of the supplements you are considering.

D-Aspartic Acid, also call DAA

D-Aspartic Acid is one of two forms of aspartic acid, which is an amino acid. It temporarily boosts testosterone by stimulating the central brain region to release hormones. It has been shown to provide a temporary boost in testosterone.

B-Complex Vitamins

B-Complex vitamins are very important in converting food into energy. They increase testosterone by improving protein and fat metabolism, which is critical for hormonal production. B vitamins also provide your body with more energy which enables you to train harder and more often. The more weight you can lift, the more your testosterone will go up.

Ginseng

Ginseng has been around for centuries in traditional Chinese and Native American cultures as a natural stimulant and supposedly a male aphrodisiac. The scientific research on the effect of ginseng on testosterone is not totally clear. Studies indicate that ginseng does, and does not, increase testosterone production. Ginseng’s hormonal affect is not clear. Ginseng does improve energy and alertness that can help men be more focused so they can achieve more effective workouts.

Fenugreek

It turns out, Fenugreek has been around for thousands of years and actually is responsible for many health benefits. It is commonly known that Fenugreek is one of the most potent aphrodisiacs and libido boosters. Fortunately for us, it is also strongly linked to natural testosterone boosting.

Mucuna Pruriens

Mucuna Pruriens is a rich source of L-Dopa, which leads to dopamine in the human body. Dopamine is responsible for mood and happiness and also triggers the body to increase testosterone production.

Oyster Extract

Oyster Extract was originally used in traditional Chinese medicine to help with fertility. It turns out, the reason Oyster Extract is so effective, is the high level of zinc that it contains. Zinc is well-known to be an important part of testosterone production.

Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus Terrestris does not boost testosterone directly. What it does is elevate other hormone levels, which in turn give instructions to the testes to produce testosterone.

Zinc

Zinc is one of the most well-understood testosterone boosting supplements. Several controlled studies have shown that zinc supplementation over time increases a man’s testosterone to a considerable degree, as much as 40%. But, please don’t think Zinc alone is the answer to all your low T issues. You need the combination of ingredients for the best results.

Vitamin D3

I am happy to report that Vitamin D3 is more than just a sunshine vitamin. Studies have shown that men who take a Vitamin D supplement, can have up to 25% more testosterone than men who do not. Vitamin D3 is also very important to the body because it regulates more than 1000 functions, such as hormone secretion, growth, sexual function and fertility.

Maca

Maca is a perennial plant that grows high up in the Andes mountains. It grows in some of the most hostile regions on the planet, where Maca thrives when other plants can’t. Maca is similar in size and shape to a white turnip. It is eaten by animals of the regions where it grows, and has also been used by people in the Andes mountain ranges for thousands of years.

Maca is known for how quickly it increases strength, stamina and endurance.

Many other benefits of taking Maca are as follows:Maca

  • More energy and endurance
  • Higher stamina and muscle strength
  • Elimination of chronic fatigue
  • Higher libido in both men and women
  • Enhanced fertility
  • Decreased depression
  • Reduced anxiety, worry and stress
  • Improved circulation leading to reduced anemia and faster wound healing
  • Enhanced memory, learning, and mental ability
  • Improved and more youthful skin appearance
  • Healthier teeth and bones

Selenium

Selenium is very well-known to boost testosterone, especially when it is taken in conjunction with Zinc.

Tongkat Ali

I know it has a weird name but does this Malaysian flowering plant deliver testosterone boosting qualities? It is also known as Malaysian Ginseng and has many benefits for male enhancement and there are studies that show good results for boosting testosterone.

My Number 1 Testosterone Booster For Men 30+ – Prime Male

Prime MaleOn the top of my list is Prime Male. This product is very new to the T boosting market. This powerful supplement has been created and formulated specifically for men age 30 and over. It is designed to naturally reverse the effects of the normal age-related reductions in testosterone levels that every man experiences. Remember, we lose about 1% testosterone per year, after about age 30.

The results are in: Increased muscle mass and strength, reduced body fat, a boost in sex drive and performance, more energy, improved mood, enhanced cognitive function, and all the other health benefits associated with increased natural testosterone production.

Prime Male has as additional benefit that other testosterone boosters don’t have : Higher bio availability.

Higher bio availability means the vital nutrients in Prime Male are more easily absorbed. This is really helpful as we get older, since our ability to absorb nutrients from food and supplements naturally deteriorates with age.

The main ingredients in Prime Male are:

  • D-Aspartic Acid Calcium Chelate which is shown to be better absorbed and more effective than ordinary D-AA.
  • Vital T-boosting minerals Zinc & Magnesium are included in their pure elemental forms.
  • Boron – a vital trace mineral. Studies have shown it to increase free testosterone levels around 30%.
  • Vital T-boosting vitamins D3, B6, K2 are included in their most bio available forms.
  • BioPerine, a patented black pepper extract proven to significantly increase bio availability and absorption of nutrients.

Other ingredients included in the Prime Male formulation are:

The science-backed estrogen blocker Luteolin, Asian Red Ginseng, Mucuna Pruriens, Nettle Root. Prime Male contains 12 ingredients in total, in what are believed to be their most pure and potent forms.

The dose is 3000mg per day, and the manufacturer’s directions for use state that for optimum results, 1 capsule is to be taken 4 times per day with a meal or snack. There are 120 capsules in a monthly supply. The makers offer money back guarantee; you can use the product risk-free for a full 90 days.

If you are 30 or older and want to regain some of your youthful energy, strength and athletic performance, Prime Male is the testosterone booster recommended for you.

My Number 2 Testosterone Booster For Younger Men – TestoFuel

TestoFuelIn second place on my list of natural testosterone
boosters is TestoFuel. This is another outstanding product that is
designed primarily for younger bodybuilders and strength athletes.

TestoFuel contains the largest dose of D-Aspartic Acid which makes it a very effective muscle and strength builder. It contains optimum doses of proven ingredients of Vitamin D, Oyster Extract, Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Vitamin K2, Fenugreek and Siberian Ginseng. And you won’t get filler ingredients with this one like you do with many others.

This T booster not only will boost strength and muscle size, but it will also help you lose body fat at the same time.

As with most testosterone boosters, another positive benefit that this product offers, is that it can help to improve your overall mood. While maintaining a better mood is clearly a great thing, it also helps out for building muscle because the better your mood is, the higher your motivation usually is, which then means more effort put forth in the gym.

As with Prime Male, TestoFuel offers money back guarantee. This is unheard of with many other product options available, so you can basically try TestoFuel for 90 days, risk-free.

Pro’s:

  • Contains optimum doses of D-Aspartic Acid & Vitamin D
  • A massive 3000mg dose per day, 120 capsules in a monthly supply
  • Contains Oyster extract – the number 1 test boosting food
  • Great customer reviews

Con’s

  • Not suitable for vegans or vegetarians
  • Only available on their website.( I have links in the post that will get you there)

TestoFuel is carefully designed for young athletes and bodybuilders using very high quality ingredients that boost testosterone, muscle growth, and physical performance. This is the one to use if your are in your younger years.

In conclusion

When shopping for a testosterone booster, ensure some, if not all, of the best testosterone booster ingredients are included. The supplement industry is full of misinformation and proprietary supplements that will leave you with less money in your wallet and testosterone level unchanged.

And remember:

  • If you are under age 30 and are hitting the gym on a regular basis to build mass, power and strength, then I recommend TestoFuel as the best testosterone booster money can buy.

  • If you are over age 30, you should take Prime Male instead. Mature men are in T decline, and can benefit more from Prime Male’s more easily absorbable & potent high quality ingredients.

  1. I recently moved to Chile so I’m pretty close to the Andes. I wonder if I can find Maca here. Anyway, good article, it’s good to know about all those testosterone boosters.

  2. great review! and very informative! I just asked my husband to read this article as it looks like it will his general health. Both of your recommendations do not contain maca. Its the first time i Heard about it (kooks so much like a turnip!) but it sounds like a super food. I wonder if farmers market carry them sometimes.

    • Maca is only one ingredient that helps with low t. The supplements I recommend have many more ingredients that will increase low t along with many other benefits. T20 is probably my favorite but Prime Male is close. They both are high quality.
