I highly recommend them!
There are many natural low testosterone supplements out there on the market/internet. I have used a few and had some success with one and not the other. It is important to note that there are really only a few on the market that actually contain supplements that will temporarily increase your low testosterone. In the following topics, I will describe some herbs and vitamins that are contained in the best natural low testosterone supplements.
What is Fenugreek and What Will it Do for You?
Fenugreek is a bean type plant that mainly comes from India and North Africa. Fenugreek is used in traditional medicine for treating arthritis and sexual dysfunction. Fenugreek has been shown in many studies to increase sexual arousal and testosterone levels and enhance athletic performance in men. It’s always best to consult with your primary care physician before using natural supplements to make sure this would be safe for you. There are many very good natural low testosterone supplements that do include fenugreek. Much more to come on which ones I recommend in a future post.
Update: I have now written many posts on the best testosterone boosters that you can read all about on my website.

Should I Also Take D-Aspartic Acid and What Exactly is That?
D-Aspartic Acid or DAA is an amino acid produced by the body which has been found in the nervous and endocrine tissues of both animals and humans. It is one of 20 building blocks of proteins, called proteinogenic amino acids.
D-Aspartic acid has been shown to increase natural testosterone production and release, by increasing the release of certain hormones.
Increased testosterone levels associated with d-aspartic acid, benefit sexual performance, and muscle growth. Since it is a male sex hormone, testosterone enhances libido and some say erection quality. It has also been proven to intensify orgasms and can extend how long intercourse lasts. Having higher testosterone makes your energy level rise. By increasing your testosterone level, d-aspartic acid will make your workouts more effective and helps you build muscle.

Zinc and Vitamin D are Both Critical to Increasing Low Testosterone.
As I mentioned and covered in a previous post, Zinc is vital to producing the correct amount of testosterone. Another important vitamin needed for higher testosterone is vitamin D.
Studies have shown that a daily dosage of 3000-6000 IU of Vitamin D can help create a significant increase in total testosterone.
Zinc levels needed on a daily basis is between 11-40mg. Doses higher than 40mg may be recommended by your doctor but high zinc doses might cause dizziness, fatigue, loss of muscle control, anemia, sweating, hallucinations, and nausea. The recommended natural low testosterone supplements all contain safe levels of both zinc and vitamin D.
I will only recommend natural low testosterone supplements that contain safe levels of all herbs and vitamins.
Maca is Another Highly Touted Herb You Should Include in Your Quest to Increase Low Testosterone
Maca is a what’s called a perennial plant that grows high up in the Andes mountains. It grows in some of the most hostile regions on the planet, where Maca thrives when other plants can’t. Maca is similar in size and shape to a white turnip. It is eaten by animals of the regions where it grows and has also been used by people in the Andes mountain ranges for 1000s of years for the many health benefits it provides.
Maca is known for how quickly it increases strength, stamina, and endurance.
Many other benefits of taking Maca as follows:
- More energy and endurance
- Higher stamina and muscle strength
- Elimination of chronic fatigue
- Higher libido in both men and women
- Enhanced fertility

- Reduced anxiety, worry, and stress
- Improved circulation leading to reduced anemia and faster wound healing

Boron Has Recently Become an Important Ingredient in Testosterone Supplements
Boron is a rare trace mineral that is vital for various functions in the human body. It can be found in small amounts in the earth’s soil.
There are quite a few notable benefits you receive by getting enough boron.
Some of the main benefits of Boron are as follows:
- Maintain sexual and reproductive health.
- It helps the body metabolize Vitamin D easier.
- Increases total and free testosterone production within the body.
- Increases DHT (dihydrotestosterone).
- It decreases estrogen levels.
- Prevents osteoarthritis and other bone and joint diseases.
- Decreases inflammation.
Hopefully, now you see, Boron is essential for optimal health!
Nowadays, it is very difficult to get enough Boron to experience these benefits through your diet alone.
The best way to get enough boron is through taking a quality supplement that contains Boron or simply by taking Boron alone.
I highly recommend Boron Citrate as the Boron supplement to take, because it is the most bioavailable form of Boron and the most easily absorbed by the body.
The correct dosage of Boron is 3-10mg per day. However, a higher dosage of 10mg per day has been shown to elicit a greater hormonal response in humans (larger increases in testosterone levels).
In fact, there is a study that showed 10mg of Boron per day for 7 days has shown to increase free testosterone by 28%, decrease estrogen levels by 39%, and increase DHT by 10%!
Another study shows that taking 6mg of boron for 60 days increases testosterone levels by 29%.
