Most Popular Testosterone Booster 2018 – Should It Be?

Nugenix Not!

Nugenix – Not for Everyone!Nugenix is touted as the most popular testosterone booster 2018 and has been on the market for several years. It clearly has the most exposure with all the TV ads with celebrity athletes. It is most likely the most highly marketed and advertised T booster. But is as good as they say it is on TV? So I thought, OK if it works for them, surely it will work for me. Turns out, maybe not!

This is my experience with this product and my review.

My 30 Days of Taking Nugenix – Energy Boost or Not?

I took the suggested amount of Nugenix as recommended on the first day. Same thing on day 2. Still waiting on that energy boost. Still working out every day and taking the suggested 3 pills a day. I don’t recognize any more energy and no big boost for my workouts.

I took the entire 30-day trial and for me, I just never really noticed any difference. Here are my results:

  • No energy change for the 30 days.
  • No obvious boost to my testosterone.
  • No great improvement in my workouts.
  • I wish I woke up every morning pitching a tent( Men know what I mean), but no such luck.
  • No increase in sex drive.

So, for me, it really didn’t work as well as some others I have used. Maybe I needed to take it for a year. That’s not happening at its price.

I bought mine at Rite Aid, where it was cheaper than online. Be careful of the trial bottle online because you will be enrolled in auto ship every month at full price.

Nugenix Ingredients – They Appear to Be of High Quality

There are only a few actual ingredients in this booster. Only one of the ingredients is actually known to increase testosterone and sex drive. That one is the Fenugreek, and there is a lot of research backing its testosterone boosting ability. But, the dosage and the amount of these ingredients is too small to reap the promised results, in my opinion.

Here are the actual ingredients:

As you can see, the B-Vitamins listed should produce energy boosts.

The Zinc is known to increase sperm count, sex drive and sexual performance. In my research, we need around 11mg a day to achieve these results. So clearly, as I said earlier, there is not enough in the Nugenix dosage.

The other ingredients are supposed to be the one that increase free testosterone. Bu, only one of them is actually know to increase testosterone. On top of that, the proprietary blend here doesn’t tell us how much of each ingredient you get. This is always a red flag when taking a testosterone booster. We like to see exactly what the ingredients are and the dose of each that we are supposed to take each day.

Should You Try Nugenix – Depends on Your Goal.

If your objective/goal is to boost your testosterone levels so you can experience all the physical, mental, and emotional health benefits associated with that, then it would probably be best for you to look at other more proven boosters that are backed by science. There are other boosters that are backed by science and contain ingredients and dosages that are proven to work and come with money back guarantee.

General Information on Where to Buy Nugenix – If Interested

You can get Nugenix on Amazon and sometimes at slightly lower prices.

You can buy it at Rite Aid and if you have a Rite Aid membership card, which is free, you can get it cheaper.

You can buy it at GNC, which is where it was first promoted.

Or you can get it online and even get a free trial. But, as previously mentioned, be careful or the auto ship that you will be getting along with the free trial.

Are There Any Side Effects When Taking Nugenix?

Nugenix side effects are typically minimal, even when they are reported. Most of the reviews of people using it, do not really contain any reports of side effects.

Since all the ingredients are natural, there is most likely nothing very negative that the user would experience. I found that when side effects were reported, they were usually pretty minor. Some side effects reported were bloating, gas, nasal congestion, upset stomach, and occasionally diarrhea.

These side effects are very minor, but they can still be annoying sometimes. It’s important to realize that usually if side effects are experienced at all, it is in the first few days. Any time you start a new supplement, it can take your body a few days to get used to the ingredients. Usually, any side effects tend to go away after a few days.

Nugenix Review Conclusion – Sorry But I Am Not A Big Fan.

If you look at its popularity in the market, Nugenix appears to be one of the top testosterone boosters on the market. They have amazing marketing and advertising. Their TV campaign and other online ads have helped them to become one of the most popular test boosters around.

Unfortunately, just based on my experience in taking it, I would give Nugenix a 3 out of 5 ranking for overall effectiveness.

Why is Nugenix is not for your? The main issues I had with this product were:

  1. It didn’t have enough proven testosterone boosting ingredients. The research I have done for many other boosters have shown that you really need a minimum of 5 scientifically proven T boosting ingredients to even be considered in the higher rankings for overall effectiveness
  2. It didn’t show the dosages of the heart and soul of the product which is their Nugenix Testosterone Complex. Without listed dosage levels of each and every ingredient, you can’t know the effectiveness of any ingredient.

If you are interested in some products that I believe in and have done reviews on, I recommend Prime Male or JayLab Pro T20.

  1. That’s really interesting, I always saw adverts for this and was genuinely curious how it was. Do you think companies will ever fully disclose their ingredients on a regular basis?

  2. It’s nice to see personal reviews on items that could be viewed as sensitive or private issues. Ingredients are usually listed from highest volume to lowest volume but when they lump them all together as a “proprietary blend” it’s so hard to know what ingredient is actually providing the benefits. I would like to see the ingredients listed as individuals items but the supplement industry is not regulated so it probably won’t ever happen. Thank you for your honest review

    • Thank you very much. If we are not honest in our reviews, people will not trust our website and we won’t become authorities on our niche. Most of the reputable supplement companies do provide what is in their proprietary blends.

  3. Thank you for your insights! I love reviews even if I’m not shopping for something because, well, you never know.
